Illustrations in Books

Did this one completely in oil pastels. I feel that colouring is my weak point, can never get it quite right. I still was happy to use those colours from my childhood and now it looks sweet too.

Also, I find it very hard to read books with illustrations in them, I keep looking at the illustrations and wanting to draw them. Used to happen when my parents got me books from the library when I was small, happens still. This one I picked up from a children's encyclopaedia.

Election Sunday

We had general elections today, for the municipal corporation. Sunday seemed different. I got up after noon and have been listening to music & reading since, though what I really should be doing is studying. Anyway, this is what I made this week. The sheet was small, so the guy might look like a dwarf :p
