Illustrations in Books

Did this one completely in oil pastels. I feel that colouring is my weak point, can never get it quite right. I still was happy to use those colours from my childhood and now it looks sweet too.

Also, I find it very hard to read books with illustrations in them, I keep looking at the illustrations and wanting to draw them. Used to happen when my parents got me books from the library when I was small, happens still. This one I picked up from a children's encyclopaedia.

  6. Coloring is your weak point? I'd say you did pretty well here--all the colors are vibrant and yet realistic. Love this outdoor summery scene too.
