Night Sky

Was just sitting on the terrace star gazing a few nights back. I wish there was a camera in my eyes.

Sunday ends the week, but paves the way for a brand new week, wish you all the best for it!

  5. Eye cameras sound like a very cool idea, but I agree with Lenora... sometimes the interpretation is more interesting than the photo :)

  8. That's why I always try to bring my camera wherever I'm going! Sadly a camera can't always capture things the way one actually sees it... =/
    Beautiful artwork!

  10. We are enjoying more night sky here. The council have switched many of the street lights off to save money and the environment. I like the stars. You captured them well in this piece.

  12. :) I like what you have to say here. Yes! Sundays can set a wonderful tone for the rest of the week. I also really like the fullness of those clouds in your night sky and the glow of city lights over the landscape.

A Dedication to Mr Picasso

I know i draw without taking any lessons and so most of my drawings might be technically incorrect (and sometimes hard to draw too), but at the end of the day, what matters is that i love it. This one is an Oil on Paper, my first proper oil on paper portrait. Took me about 4 hrs (i guess i should buy new brushes, they don't look so good . .) and now i can't breathe, thanks to the turpentine. Looking forward to your priceless feedback. :)

Torn

Because men have feelings too (though most of them are related to female bodies, but i like to believe they think about things other than that too). . . My Sunday is incomplete without Sunday Sketches .

Illustrations in Books

Did this one completely in oil pastels. I feel that colouring is my weak point, can never get it quite right. I still was happy to use those colours from my childhood and now it looks sweet too. Also, I find it very hard to read books with illustrations in them, I keep looking at the illustrations and wanting to draw them. Used to happen when my parents got me books from the library when I was small, happens still. This one I picked up from a children's encyclopaedia.  * Sunday Sketches *
