Night Sky

Was just sitting on the terrace star gazing a few nights back. I wish there was a camera in my eyes.

    I'm so with you. Oh how many times I have this idea "captured" in my mind but never comes out on paper as I "see" it. Grr. lol :)

    but there is! a camera i mean! sometimes the interpretation is more interesting than the photo - so much more in it, so much more complex!

    Eye cameras sound like a very cool idea, but I agree with Lenora... sometimes the interpretation is more interesting than the photo :)

    That's why I always try to bring my camera wherever I'm going! Sadly a camera can't always capture things the way one actually sees it... =/

    We are enjoying more night sky here. The council have switched many of the street lights off to save money and the environment. I like the stars. You captured them well in this piece.

    :) I like what you have to say here. Yes! Sundays can set a wonderful tone for the rest of the week. I also really like the fullness of those clouds in your night sky and the glow of city lights over the landscape.

A Dedication to Mr Picasso

I know i draw without taking any lessons and so most of my drawings might be technically incorrect (and sometimes hard to draw too), but at the end of the day, what matters is that i love it. This one is an Oil on Paper, my first proper oil on paper portrait. Sketch Pen Stuff

My sister got new sketch pens, and while she was sitting watching FRIENDS till late at night, though very sleepy, I decided to draw, and came up with this (with a few others, that I haven't shared here): The background here is MS Paint. And then a few nights later, when I was just irritated because nothing seemed to be working at all, I made this (by the number of mistakes in it, you can tell i was irritable that day): And last to last night, I just wanted to escape from the scenery on the right to the scenery on the left: A very good morning and a happy Sunday to you! The weather is pleasant, as the rainy season(monsoon) is about to start, so the best thing to do is to view some lovely artwork at The Blue Chair Diary's Sunday Sketches , while listening to some awesome music. :) P.S. no pencils used at all (such a relief not to use the eraser) :)

Black Sketch

Something i drew last night...for the reason why i mostly draw...to get rid of sadness/trouble. Couldn't get a better picture. . . Also it was really hard, on a useless black paper, with the worst pencil colours ever. If it is too bad, then just for the idea of the drawing, there are houses, tree trunks, two people, clouds, grass and a road in it. so i realised that it is a Sunday, hence, I'm over to Sunday Sketches now. :)
