My effort at making females...it's messy, because i was impatient. Completed this one within an hour. Check out some great sketches at Sunday Sketches!! :)
I know i draw without taking any lessons and so most of my drawings might be technically incorrect (and sometimes hard to draw too), but at the end of the day, what matters is that i love it. This one is an Oil on Paper, my first proper oil on paper portrait. Took me about 4 hrs (i guess i should buy new brushes, they don't look so good . .) and now i can't breathe, thanks to the turpentine. Looking forward to your priceless feedback. :)
It is rather good. I like how the hair and the eyes turned out as well as the colour.

She is real good - patience is hard... I finally have had some on the last two pieces I've done and I can totally see the improvement! Walk away - let it dry - go back and be inspired!
